*South Kearny's 2nd Precinct is no longer a continuously staffed police station and is not open to the public. All public police business is carried out at Police Headquarters, 237 Laurel Avenue.
Internal Affairs Complaint Report Forms
Persons wishing to file an internal affairs complaint against a police officer are welcome to access the statewide IAPP Appendix A: Sample Civilian Complaint Information Sheet provided at this link, which has been translated into several languages. Completed Civilian Complaint Information Sheets can be emailed to twagner@kearnynjpd.org, mailed, faxed, or hand delivered to Kearny Police headquarters. Complaints can also be made in person, by telephone, or through other means at any time. Although the Attorney General's Office does not seem to have a form for it, persons wishing to commend an officer can also do so by any means.
